Overview

As an Associate (Knowledge) in Real Estate, you enable the Real Estate team to work efficiently by delivering knowledge services and training. You will develop precedents, manage subscriptions, and contribute to the firm’s 2030 Knowledge Plan, while supporting knowledge sharing and client-facing training. The role combines drafting, research, and process improvement to enhance practice-wide consistency and quality. This is a flexible, client-focused opportunity in a large, forward-thinking firm.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of the 2030 Knowledge Plan
• Create and maintain precedents where external sources are lacking
• Collate and manage precedents from subscription providers
• Design and deliver internal training for trainees, junior lawyers and wider teams
• Support knowledge sharing sessions and capture lessons learned
• Contribute to training for new joiners
• Assist in creating client-facing training
• Monitor legal developments with the Research team and update internal guidance
• Ensure team resources are accessible and well organized
• Identify opportunities for efficiencies through process improvement or technology
• Draft internal legal insights and external articles
• Support responses to tenders and specific legal queries
• Collaborate with Knowledge Lawyers across practice groups

Key requirements

• 2+ years’ PQE in Real Estate
• Strong technical knowledge of Real Estate law
• Excellent drafting and research skills
• Ability to analyse and communicate complex information clearly
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
• Confidence working independently and collaboratively
