Delivery Manager – JP Morgan Personal Investing

Overview

In this role you will lead multi‑team programs for JP Morgan Personal Investing, steering delivery from strategy to realization of benefits. You own the delivery plan, coordinate cross‑functional work, and remove impediments to hit scope, schedule, budget, and benefits. It’s a hands-on position designed for rapid learning and execution. You will translate strategy into deliverable outcomes, manage trade‑offs with Product/Tech/Business, and ensure accountability across squads and vendors. You’ll drive governance, risk management, and data‑driven decisions to land measurable value.

Responsibilities

• Own outcome-based delivery across multiple squads and vendors, translating strategy into clear milestones and success measures.
• Establish and manage the integrated delivery plan and critical path; drive execution to outcomes.
• Lead trade‑offs with Product/Tech/Business, ensuring momentum and accountability.
• Conduct tight delivery cadences, surface and resolve issues, and deconflict dependencies.
• Remove impediments across tech, processes, and organizational boundaries; secure resources quickly.
• Maintain forward‑looking risk posture; implement indicators and intervention triggers.
• Manage scope, schedule, and cost with formal change control; quantify impacts and obtain approvals.
• Develop recovery plans and transition workstreams to stability when needed.
• Craft executive‑level narratives; tailor updates for decision quality and document decisions/actions.
• Forecast, track burn and benefits; drive corrective actions and validate post‑launch benefits.
• Apply pragmatic delivery methods (Agile, hybrid, staged) and ensure data quality for reporting.
• Collaborate with engineering for build readiness, release planning, non‑functional testing, and operational acceptance.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end readiness: changes, communications, training, and support models; drive adoption metrics.

Key requirements

• 7–10+ years leading complex, cross‑functional technology and business initiatives with multi‑team delivery and integration.
• Data‑driven trade‑offs and ability to deliver under ambiguity and time pressure.
• Strong Agile at scale and hybrid planning; expertise in dependency management and release orchestration.
• Proficiency with Jira/Confluence; knowledge of other PPM platforms is a plus.
• Experience embedding AI tools into workflows is a significant bonus.
• Excellent facilitation and executive communication; able to influence at senior levels and with vendors.
• Solid financial management: forecasting, burn/variance analysis, and benefits realisation.
• Technical fluency to partner with architects and engineering leads on solutions and cutover planning.
