Overview
In this role you help design and deliver future-ready healthcare facilities within WSP’s Healthcare Assets and Partnerships team. You’ll support advisory projects, conduct policy and estates research, and help prepare client documents and bids. The position offers growth, ongoing training, and opportunities to work with cross-functional teams on NHS and public sector health projects. You’ll work hybrid or office-based in London or Birmingham, contributing to a growing health-focused advisory practice.

Responsibilities
- Support healthcare advisory projects to meet quality, budget, and schedule targets
- Conduct research on healthcare policy, service delivery, population health, estates and infrastructure planning
- Contribute to reports, business cases, and client documentation
- Assist with workshop preparation, stakeholder engagement, and project meetings
- Maintain project documentation and ensure accurate records
- Build relationships with clients and internal teams
- Support bids, proposals, and marketing materials
- Contribute to market intelligence gathering and sector research
- Identify emerging healthcare challenges and opportunities
Key requirements
- Prior NHS/UK health sector experience
- Knowledge of NHS property and capital project policy, processes, and stakeholders
- Understanding of construction and property lifecycle
- Ability to research, analyse data, and present findings
- Numerate and comfortable with spreadsheets
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Commercially astute with awareness of consultancy delivery constraints
