Senior Specialist / Advisor (Major Projects)

Overview

In this role you will act as a senior advisor within the Capital Investment Team, driving major projects across the council and external partners. You will provide guidance to key stakeholders, including regional partners, colleagues, professional bodies and elected officials, to support outcomes for residents and the city. The position centers on facilitating cross-council collaboration and delivering impactful capital initiatives. You will work in a dynamic public-sector environment that values stakeholder engagement and strategic thinking, offering opportunities to shape high‑visibility projects. Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate advice and guidance to key stakeholders including regional partners, colleagues, professional bodies, elected officials and local communities
• Coordinate cross-council efforts to deliver deliverables that support council outcomes
• Support the achievement of key outcomes for the Council, residents and city through major projects
