Electrical Contracts Manager

Overview

As Electrical Contracts Manager, you will lead electrical delivery on a major Canary Wharf project, from design coordination to handover. You will work with cross-functional teams to meet programme, quality, commercial and safety targets. You will manage site teams, subcontractors and suppliers, handling RFIs, variations and project risks. You’ll drive progress through client meetings and robust reporting, shaping the delivery of complex electrical packages. Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of electrical packages on a major project
• Manage site teams, subcontractors, labour and suppliers
• Coordinate programme, procurement and technical requirements
• Review drawings, specifications and technical submissions
• Lead client, progress and coordination meetings
• Manage RFIs, design changes, variations and project risks
• Monitor quality, productivity and health and safety performance
• Coordinate testing, commissioning and project handover
• Provide accurate progress reports to senior management

Key requirements

• Proven electrical contracts or project management experience
• Strong knowledge of electrical building services installations
• Experience delivering major commercial or similarly complex projects
• Ability to manage programme, teams and subcontractors
