Senior People Operations Manager

Overview

In this role you drive the People Ops function to support rapid, international growth. You own complex employee relations and investigations, and lead employment setup in new jurisdictions, payroll, contracts, benefits, and compliance. You’ll automate core People Ops processes and streamline data reporting to scale across markets. You collaborate cross-functionally to improve how the people function operates in a fast-paced, impact-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the employee relations function, including sensitive cases and investigations, in partnership with Legal
• Lead employment setup in new jurisdictions (entity, payroll, contracts, benefits, compliance) to enable clean hires in new markets
• Automate core People Ops processes (payroll, onboarding, offboarding, contractor management) across markets
• Ensure multi-country employment compliance with local labour laws as we expand
• Deliver end-to-end People Ops projects, scoping and implementing improvements
• Automate and streamline manual workflows to reduce operational load and improve accuracy
• Maintain accurate people data and reporting for headcount, attrition, and compliance

Key requirements

• ≥8 years in People Ops/HR or similar in a fast-growing, multi-country environment
• Hands-on employee relations and performance process experience with sound judgement
• Track record setting up/employing across multiple jurisdictions, payroll, contracts, benefits, and compliance
• Strong project ownership and ability to manage multiple workstreams independently
• Comfort with data, systems, and automation to reduce manual effort
• AI-native approach and use of AI tools to optimize work
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management for sensitive matters
