Overview

In this role you help the Defence Enterprise improve value for money and collaboration by optimising supply chains and logistics. You’ll work with the Defence and Security team to understand client needs, craft innovative strategies, and implement solutions that deliver tangible business benefits. You’ll tackle complex supply chain challenges for public and private sector clients, shaping the future of defence supply chain practice. This position offers cross‑functional collaboration, opportunities to lead client work, and potential to contribute to business development and new offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-impact consulting projects on defence supply chain and logistics transformation
  • Develop and advise on strategies to transform supply chain organisations
  • Implement solutions that accelerate and transform supply chain processes and harness data
  • Engage with clients to understand needs and challenges across defence sectors
  • Lead or support change initiatives in multifaceted stakeholder environments
  • Contribute to business development and expansion of defence supply chain offerings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver client value
  • Support remote/hybrid delivery with client sites as needed

Key requirements

  • Strong industrial supply chain and logistics experience across planning, operations, and development
  • Extensive experience in Defence or adjacent sector supply chains
  • Ability to navigate complex supply chain processes to deliver value for money
  • Proven track record leading and supporting change initiatives with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with creative solutions
  • Collaborative mindset in fast-paced environments
  • Preferred: CIPS/MCIPS/CILT or equivalent qualifications
  • Ability to transfer skills to new environments and contribute to business development
  • Supply chain design and resilience assessment experience (desirable)
