Overview
In this role you lead the operational delivery of Tes Institute’s teacher training and professional development programmes, ensuring high-quality learner experiences. You work with cross-functional teams to secure consistent delivery, support cohorts, and drive engagement and progression. You will collaborate with faculty, governance bodies, and external partners to uphold standards and compliance. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position within a mission to empower teachers and schools through exceptional education programmes.

Responsibilities
- Oversee operational delivery of the assigned teacher training programme and collaborate across programmes when volumes require
- Ensure secure, consistent delivery across contexts and settings
- Collaborate with Tes Institute functions and wider Tes Global teams to embed expertise in delivery
- Support Sales and Marketing activities as directed by Head of Programme Delivery
- Report on programme outcomes, retention and engagement to Head of Programme Delivery
- Monitor learner engagement and progress via Tes Learn and submissions
- Deliver training to learners (remote and in-person) and provide targeted development interventions
- Utilise Focused Support Plans and progress monitoring for learners as needed
- Coordinate marking/standardisation for postgraduate programmes with academic team
- Quality assure and provide end-of-course evidence to external bodies (e.g., UEL, DfE) and support governance/inspection activities
- Recruit, train, and onboard Pathway Tutors; monitor Pathway Tutor activity and output in TES Learn
- Assess Pathway Tutor performance and provide development support; report progress and QA activity to inform improvements
Key requirements
- Experience delivering teacher training and development programmes
- Understanding of teacher training education developments and international needs
- Knowledge of routes into teaching and professional development beyond initial training
- Experience in team leadership
- Experience with external inspection by regulatory bodies (e.g., Ofsted)
- Proactive, innovative, collaborative, flexible and independent work style
- Teaching qualification (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience delivering educational programmes via blended methods
- High emotional intelligence with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to Tes values and ethos
- For postgraduate programmes, MA or PhD qualification is required
- Desirable: experience as a Tes Pathway Tutor; senior leadership experience; NPQLTD/NPQH/NPQEL or equivalent Masters/PhD
