Innovation Lab Analyst

Overview

In this role you will support BSI’s Innovation Lab in Singapore by translating complex concepts into clear concepts for diverse stakeholders. You will explore emerging technologies and competitor offerings, align efforts with customer-focused objectives, and contribute to design of innovative technical solutions. You will work across multiple projects and engage with customers at different levels, applying research, design, and prototyping to validate ideas. This position offers hands-on impact on innovation initiatives that extend BSI’s trusted solutions and services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on emerging technologies and competitors; assist with Innovation projects
• Ensure alignment with Innovation Team to support customer-focused objectives
• Help design and create innovative technical solutions
• Work on multiple projects with customers at varying organizational levels
• Leverage technical competency to perform external market and technical research, design, program, test software, and participate in POC/prototyping

Key requirements

• Bachelor degree
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in Supply Chain, Operations or Production, preferably in manufacturing, healthcare or building industries
• Familiarity with project management (PMP or Agile) and human-centric design (HCD)
• Good working knowledge of software/apps development, including SFDC
• Strong understanding of stakeholder and customer service processes, needs assessment, quality of service, and customer satisfaction evaluation
• Ability to interpret new information for current and future problem-solving and decision-making
• Ability to monitor performance and drive improvements or corrective actions
• Strong interpersonal communication skills; awareness of others’ reactions
• Strong written and verbal English; second language a plus
