As Financial Reporting Advisory – Assistant Manager you will deliver technical accounting guidance across IFRS, UK GAAP and related areas, supporting clients through complex engagements such as M&A, group restructurings and new standards. You will lead projects, manage budgets and risks, and foster cross‑functional collaboration to add value for clients. Responsibilities
- Deliver projects applying technical accounting (GAAP conversions, financial statement prep, M&A activity, new standards implementation)
- Work with cross-functional teams (Transaction Services, Valuations, Tax)
- Manage projects ensuring on-time delivery and budget control
- Maintain awareness of commercial implications on productivity and margins
- Lead smaller assignments from planning to review
- Identify opportunities and prepare scope and quotes for small work
- Maintain strong client relationships and deliver high-quality service
Key requirements
- Professional qualification with post-qualification experience
- Ability to manage a large portfolio of audit clients
- Technical accounting knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
- Familiarity with US GAAP and Companies Act (desirable)
- Experience in leading client relationships and teams
