Responsibilities

• Lead structural analysis and design across highways, rail, aviation, energy and power projects
• Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams and mentor engineers
• Develop practical, robust structural solutions for asset management and renewals
• Guide clients and project teams by communicating complex information clearly
• Support delivery improvements through digital tools and lean processes
• Manage competing technical and project priorities while maintaining safety and quality
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to strengthen relationships
• Contribute to feasibility through to detailed design and renewal planning
• Promote safety and sustainability in all design decisions
• Shape integrated solutions through collaboration with UK and international specialists

Key requirements

• Substantial experience in civil or structural engineering
• Strong analysis, design and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience leading technical delivery and ensuring engineering quality
• Excellent communication of technical information to clients and teams
• Experience mentoring or guiding engineers
• Ability to manage priorities without compromising safety or quality
• Relevant civil or structural engineering degree
