Overview

In this role you will lead a care team in a Barchester care home to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. You’ll supervise staff, train on shift, and manage medication administration, care plans, and risk assessments, while liaising with GPs and families. You’ll uphold residents’ dignity and preferences, contributing to a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment. Responsibilities

• Lead a team of care staff, including training, supervisions and delegating duties on shift
• Administer and order medication
• Review and update resident care plans and risk assessments
• Liaise with GPs, district nursing teams and resident families
• Uphold residents’ dignity and preferences and contribute to a warm, welcoming environment

Key requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care
• previous experience in a residential care setting
