Senior Electrical Engineer

Overview

As an Electrical Engineer at Jacobs, you will help shape the electrical backbone of a major semiconductor manufacturing project. You work with a global, cross‑functional team from early design through construction, ensuring installations reflect design intent and quality. You’ll translate engineering rigor into hands‑on field progress, collaborating with clients and contractors to keep the project moving. Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities and verify installations align with design intent
• Respond to contractor RFIs and support submittal reviews
• Monitor system installation quality and compliance
• Collaborate with client, owner, and contractors to resolve issues and maintain momentum
• Translate design into constructible solutions in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment

Key requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• At least 15 years of experience in engineering design of industrial electrical systems
• Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC)
• Minimum 5 years of field experience supporting construction activities
• Proficient in English (technical communication)

• Collaborative mindset across multidisciplinary teams
• Industrial electrical design experience
• Semiconductor and/or mission critical facilities electrical design experience (preferred)
• Navisworks knowledge
