Overview

In this Senior Procurement Consultant role you will deliver strategic procurement advice for public and private sector clients, leading end-to-end procurement services on major projects. You’ll work with a skilled Contract Services team to influence procurement strategy, bid support, and post-contract management, while helping grow capabilities in transformative areas like sustainable and digital procurement. The position offers growth in a global, entrepreneurial environment and opportunities to travel and develop Chartered status.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist procurement strategy advice to public and private sector clients
  • Lead and collaborate on end-to-end procurement services for major projects or programmes
  • Support post-contract contract management for large projects
  • Contribute to development of procurement services offered by Turner & Townsend
  • Support business development and marketing for the Contract Services team
  • Support delivery of team and broader business targets
  • Assist bid preparation and proposal documentation to strengthen work-winning capability

Key requirements

  • Experience leading or supporting projects in a strategic procurement environment
  • Strong background in tender preparation and development of key documents
  • Experience in supplier engagement from market engagement to contract award
  • Cross-sector experience with Utilities/Defence and Public Contract Regulations or equivalent
  • Experience with NEC4 and post-contract contract management
  • Experience with Alliancing/Partnership Contract arrangements
  • Working towards or holding MCIPs accreditation
  • Degree related to construction, civil engineering, quantity surveying, law or procurement (preferred)
  • Security Clearance (SC) preferred or restorable
  • Ability to develop supply chain intelligence strategies
  • Understanding of commercial principles and modelling across complex scenarios
