Senior AI Engineer – Consulting

Overview

In this role you will design, build and scale enterprise AI, ML, and Generative AI solutions for major clients. You will bridge AI experimentation with real-world adoption by delivering robust, scalable AI systems and governance. You will work across cloud platforms and collaborate with mixed teams to create measurable business value. This is a hands-on, client-facing opportunity at a forward-thinking consultancy with strong career progression and hybrid working.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end AI/ML solutions from development to deployment and monitoring
• Build scalable Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions, including RAG pipelines and orchestration frameworks
• Implement MLOps frameworks, governance and best practices
• Translate business requirements into cloud-native AI and data architectures across Azure, AWS and GCP
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver measurable business value
• Support innovation initiatives, reusable assets, thought leadership and client proposals

Key requirements

• Strong experience in AI Engineering, MLOps and cloud-native AI platforms
• Hands-on knowledge of LangChain, LlamaIndex, MLflow, Kubernetes, Docker and CI/CD tooling
• Experience in major Consulting firm and/or industry
• Strong consulting mindset with experience engaging senior stakeholders
• Proven ability to design and deliver AI/ML solutions at scale
• Solid understanding of Generative AI, Agentic AI and modern AI engineering frameworks
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP)
