Resource Manager

Overview

In this role you will oversee the effective resourcing of creative projects in the Brand creative team in London. You will allocate work, manage freelance requirements, and ensure teams have capacity and talent to deliver high-quality work. You’ll run resource and budget meetings with senior stakeholders and track project performance against budgets. The role involves building strong cross-team relationships and conducting talent audits to fill capability gaps. This position offers an opportunity to shape how creative resources are planned and deployed to support the company’s creative ambitions.

Responsibilities

• Allocate resources across creative projects and produce reports using internal tools
• Run resource and budget meetings with Design teams, Heads of Business, Creative Directors and Executive Producers
• Scale freelance resources and book freelancers within agreed budgets
• Monitor and report on project budgets, flag overspend or underspend
• Recruit permanent and freelance talent
• Track utilization and assist capacity planning
• Foster relationships across internal teams and guide allocation decisions
• Conduct talent audits to identify capability gaps and source suitable talent

Key requirements

• 5+ years of experience in recruiting/resourcing in a creative agency or broadcaster
• Structured, forward-thinking planning with strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical, process and methodology skills
• Experience communicating with senior stakeholders
• Solid Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Experience using project or event scheduling software
