Overview
In this role you drive landscape architecture and planning for landmark projects within the UK Landscape & Urban Design team. You will lead high-impact design and assessment work, collaborating across multidisciplinary teams and with clients to shape urban realms. You’ll work through LI/RIBA stages in a BIM level 2 environment, balancing creativity with rigorous delivery. Responsibilities
- Lead, author and coordinate Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments and Appraisals
- Lead on design projects through LI/RIBA stages in a BIM level 2 environment
- Support development of client relationships in public and private sectors
- Prepare bids for small to complex multi-disciplinary projects
- Lead, manage and delegate work to junior team members
- Engage in client-facing activities, design advice, workshops and stakeholder events
- Participate in internal multi-disciplinary groups to promote innovation and thought leadership
Key requirements
- Established track record delivering LVIA/LVA assessments and/or landscape design projects
- Initial site analysis and design strategies through to concept and detailed design with plans, schedules and specs
- Technical know-how and experience managing landscape design during construction
- Experience understanding client requirements and developing scope and fee proposals
- Fluent spoken English with excellent verbal, written and graphic communication skills
