Overview
In this Civil Engineer – Water role, you will contribute to the design and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure across the South Region. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and contractor partners to drive projects from planning through detailed design, including D&B work. You’ll shape practical, sustainable solutions for networks, treatment facilities and urban drainage, with impact on climate resilience and community needs. You’ll join a global firm with local heart, contributing to UK-wide knowledge sharing and ambitious water projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead civil engineering design across Water/Wastewater treatment, networks, storm water overflows and sustainable urban drainage
- Contribute to asset planning, strategy, concept, outline and detailed design across the project lifecycle
- Collaborate directly with contractor partners on Design & Build projects
- Work with project leads to mentor developing engineers and deliver sustainable, efficient solutions
Key requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- Solid track record of design experience within the UK water industry
- Ideally Chartered or Incorporated (ICE, CIWEM, or similar)
