Overview
In this PMO role, you will support planning, scheduling, performance reporting and risk management across major programmes in the Northwest region. You’ll collaborate with project delivery teams to tailor reporting, establish baselines and dashboards, and promote data-driven decision making. You’ll work with cross‑functional peers to align performance management with client needs and best practices, contributing to a growing portfolio of power, water, rail, and defence projects. Responsibilities
- Tailor reporting processes to client needs and align with best practice
- Deliver performance and reporting management plans based on project needs
- Promote benefits of Performance Reporting & Analytics within project teams
- Implement, administer and maintain reporting systems to track controls performance
- Contribute to a robust Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) and change control
- Roll out reporting calendars for consistent data cadence
- Define data flows for information management systems and support digital teams
- Develop and maintain corporate datasets
- Provide guidance on data quality to data providers
- Lead material preparation for governance across projects, programmes and portfolios
- Identify performance recovery recommendations for stakeholders
- Support project teams in embedding KPIs and performance measures dictionary
- Develop performance reports and dashboards with recommendations for decisions
- Prepare presentations for client governance forums and performance reviews
- Contribute to national and regional performance & reporting communities
- Train and coach clients and junior team members on performance and reporting practices
Key requirements
- Experience in a project or programme environment
- Understanding of how Scheduling, Cost Control, Change Control interact with Reporting
- Track record in identifying reporting and data requirements and documenting them
- Awareness of Project Controls software (Primavera P6, Active Risk Manager, Ecosys) is desirable
- Experience in using data analysis tools (Power BI)
