Overview
In this role you will manage a varied portfolio of commercial property matters within a forward-thinking, expanding team. You will work closely with colleagues to grow the department’s commercial property offering and support business development activities. The position involves complex property work, finance and securitisation tasks, and occasional client engagement outside standard hours. You will contribute to the firm’s growth while delivering high-quality drafting and advisory services. Responsibilities
- Conduct commercial property matters including security-related work
- Assist fee earners during busy periods
- Supervise support staff as required
- Participate in firmwide and departmental business development initiatives
Key requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ PQE in commercial property
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business clients’ needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High integrity, motivation and energy
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility
- Strong research, drafting and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- IT literacy and experience with case management systems
- Proven success in business development and generating new work
- Willingness to attend events and engage with clients outside standard hours when needed
