Agriculture & Rural Property Solicitor

Overview

In this role you will support an established Agricultural and Rural Land team in Berkshire, handling a broad range of rural property matters. You contribute to joint projects while managing your own caseload, delivering commercially focused advice. The work spans farm sales and purchases, tenancies, easements, and related commercial arrangements, with exposure to forward-looking diversification projects in the rural economy. You will gain guidance from experienced practitioners and have the opportunity to take ownership of matters. This is a supportive, knowledge-rich environment ideal for building expertise in agricultural and rural property law.

Responsibilities

• advise on farm sales and purchases
• manage agricultural tenancies
• handle easements and wayleaves
• work on diversification projects (residential development, renewable energy, forestry, carbon offset, biodiversity net gain)
• balance teamwork with autonomous caseload management
• provide commercially focused advice to clients
• take ownership of specific matters with guidance from experienced practitioners
