Senior Project Manager – Global Distribution Projects

Overview

Senior Project Manager leading complex, multi-site distribution initiatives within CooperVision’s global PMO. You’ll deliver strategic and value-added projects, align customer needs with distribution goals, and mentor the team while coordinating with cross-functional partners. The role drives deliverables across functions, with governance, risk management, and stakeholder facilitation at its core. Travel may be required up to 10% to support project needs and align with global sites.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Key Account and internal teams to document and align customer needs with distribution strategies
• Resource planning to deliver on time and within cost for high-value, multi-site projects
• Lead and facilitate meetings with steering committees and functional leads; prepare supporting documents
• Ensure adherence to Global Distribution project lifecycle, PMO methodology, and governance (RACI, risks, etc)
• Coordinate dependencies with other Project Managers, manage risks and schedule updates
• Act as delegate for the Director, taking decision-making responsibility as needed
• Build team capability through leadership, mentoring, and development
• Work with cross-functional teams across countries and sites to achieve distribution goals

Key requirements

• 5+ years managing cross-functional projects in distribution and customer environments
• Experience in multi-function/site/country settings
• Background in logistics, warehouse management, packing, shipping and planning
• IT for healthcare industry experience (ideally contact lens)
• Knowledge of FDA and HIPAA, ERP and logistics/distribution systems
• Project Management Professional certification; Agile training; Lean and Six Sigma exposure
• University degree or relevant qualifications
