Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level rheumatology care in collaboration with the existing team
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver a comprehensive service to local patients
• Contribute to service development in a small hospital setting
• Operate with a flexible pattern and no on-call commitment for general medical duties
• Engage with governance, audit, and continual service improvement within the Directorate

Key requirements

• MRCP (or equivalent)
• On the Specialist Register for Rheumatology (or within 6 months of anticipated registration)
• Full GMC registration
• Accreditation by the Royal College / Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training / evidence of Royal College registration
