As Manager in International Business Travel & Remote Work, you guide multinational clients through compliance risks tied to remote work across many jurisdictions. You will partner with cross-border teams to maintain a precise global tax and payroll content database, ensuring accuracy amid regulatory changes. The role blends technical tax knowledge, client relationship management, and team development to deliver high-quality services. Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of international remote work compliance engagements
- Provide practical advice on international remote work obligations
- Client/account management using risk assessment and tracking tools
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in international remote work
- Coordinate with global offices to gather country-specific updates on tax, payroll, and social security
- Manage update cycles and communicate required changes timely
- Review technical content for accuracy and completeness
- Validate country submissions against legislative sources and internal standards
- Identify and resolve discrepancies with country contributors
- Monitor regulatory developments in assigned jurisdictions
- Conduct targeted research to verify content
- Maintain version control and audit trails for changes
- Support content template and tax rule structure improvements
- Perform audits and quality checks on database content
- Recommend process improvements for content workflows and documentation
- Support ongoing efforts to streamline updates and increase efficiency
- Assist in coaching junior team members and contributing to growth
- Collaborate with cross-country teams to ensure deadlines are met
Key requirements
- Experience in personal tax, payroll, global mobility, or social security for international remote work
- Prior experience with technical databases, content libraries, or compliance systems is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and systematic work style
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret tax or regulatory information (training available)
