Senior Finance Analyst – RF Power Business, Teledyne-e2v

Overview

In this role you support the RF Power Financial Controller to drive financial performance for the RF Power unit. You will deliver insightful analysis, manage overhead spend, and guide commercial decisions that improve profitability and growth. Located in Chelmsford, you operate within a fast-paced finance team serving global customers and ensure robust financial controls. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to shape outcomes and contribute to Teledyne’s high-ethics culture and ambitious technology mission.

Responsibilities

• Drive improved financial management for the Marine and Industrial business line
• Provide regular analysis of results with insights to boost performance and manage risk
• Oversee overhead spend (G&A, R&D) for RF Power Group
• Advise on financial/commercial decisions to support profitable growth
• Support periodic processes: journals, reconciliations, forecasts, annual plans
• Assist in customer bid preparation
• Deliver financial projects as required
• Ensure operations comply with Teledyne group financial controls and SOX

Key requirements

• CIMA or ACCA qualification
• Manufacturing industry experience desirable
• SC clearance desirable
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP HANA S4)
• Ability to work autonomously and in cross-functional teams
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
