Category Manager, Indirect Procurement

In this role, you own and drive indirect procurement strategies across HR, Payroll, Travel, and related areas within a global organization. You will partner with cross-functional leaders to deliver world-class value, governance, and innovation through strategic sourcing and supplier management. Responsibilities

• Develop category and sourcing strategies across HR, Payroll, Travel, and indirect spend areas
• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities (RFIs, RFQs, RFPs) and evaluate suppliers and proposals
• Negotiate contracts and lead supplier selection processes
• Build strong stakeholder partnerships with senior leaders and governance activities
• Deliver commercial insights through market intelligence, spend analysis, and cost modeling
• Drive process improvements, governance, and adoption of automation and digital tools
• Coach and develop procurement team members and share best practices

Key requirements

• 8+ years of indirect procurement experience
• Strong sourcing and category management experience
• Experience managing HR, Payroll, Travel, or related indirect categories
• Proven track record delivering cost savings and value
• Experience leading complex supplier negotiations and contract discussions
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders
• Knowledge of procurement governance and supplier management
