Overview

In this role you will lead site teams to deliver complex water-sector projects safely, on time, and within budget. You’ll work within the Anglian Water programme to drive constructability and sign-offs, uphold safety and sustainability standards, and manage contractors and stakeholders. This is a hands-on leadership position that combines governance with practical delivery to achieve critical infrastructure outcomes. You’ll contribute to a culture of safety, efficiency, and collaboration on a major 2.6 billion investment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead site teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget across your portfolio
  • Hold tier 2 suppliers to account on safety, quality, and programme, including RAMS review and approval
  • Drive constructability, project rehearsals, and fit-for-assembly sign-off to improve performance and unlock innovation
  • Champion a strong safety culture alongside zero-waste and low-carbon construction practices
  • Plan labour, plant, and materials effectively while ensuring contractual and commercial issues are escalated on time

Key requirements

  • HNC or degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Proven experience managing operational resources in fast-paced project environments
  • Strong background in water or water recycling non-infrastructure projects with experience delivering large structures in the water sector
  • SMSTS and SEATS trained
  • minimum Black CSCS Card
