BI Developer– Fintech

Overview

In this role you will help expand the BI capability of a fintech software business with a proprietary front office lending solution. You’ll work in an agile, startup-like environment to deliver Power BI-driven reports and dashboards for stakeholders across the organization. You’ll translate business needs into technical specs, build and QA BI solutions, and train users to extract insights. This is a hands-on, growth-focused position reporting to the CTO, with remote work options. You’ll join a collaborative team that values rapid learning and impact.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to define reporting needs and present findings
• Perform business analysis to create reports and dashboards
• Write requirements for reports and dashboards
• Implement Power BI reporting from scratch
• Quality assure reports for accuracy and stakeholder alignment
• Present and train users on reports/dashboards
• Monitor and improve daily data warehouse data loads
• Write technical and user documentation for BI/ETL processes
• Manage code, versioning and release control

Key requirements

• Comp Sci degree or similar experience
