Senior Product Manager, SAP

Overview

In this role you own the SAP integration strategy and execution, ensuring FloQast workflows and products are enabled by SAP data. You will bridge SAP knowledge with accounting domain expertise across Product, Engineering, and GTM to deepen FloQast’s footprint in SAP ecosystems. You’ll translate SAP processes into product requirements and designs, validate with customers, and articulate the value of the integration to buyers. This is a strategic role at the intersection of technology and financial close, with a focus on scalable, cross-environment deployment.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive SAP integration functionality and enablement
• Own end-to-end integration design: connectivity patterns, data extraction (ABAP, oData, BTP), SAP data mapping
• Navigate SAP deployment models (On-Premise, Private Cloud, Public Cloud RISE/GROW, HEC) for broad coverage
• Translate SAP FI-CO processes into FloQast product requirements and designs
• Collaborate with Engineering as product authority on SAP data structures and integration constraints
• Engage customers and partners to gather SAP needs, validate designs, and support deployments
• Support GTM with the SAP value story and measurable benefits for SAP-funded close
• Drive adoption of FloQast workflows in SAP environments with data from SAP ERP

Key requirements

• 5+ years in SAP FI-CO environment supporting financial close (techno-functional, product, consulting, or advisory)
• Deep understanding of SAP FI-CO components and period-end close cycle
• Hands-on SAP technical architecture familiarity (ABAP, oData, SAP BTP)
• Knowledge of SAP deployment models and their impact on integration
• Strong grasp of accounting processes, close cadences, and financial controls in SAP
• Ability to operate technically and commercially with Engineering and customers
• Experience translating SAP domain knowledge into product direction; comfortable as builder and storyteller
• Experience with financial close software such as FloQast or BlackLine
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA migration patterns vs ECC6
• Product management experience in B2B SaaS or close collaboration with product teams to translate SAP expertise into product strategy
