Quality Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead quality governance and drive total quality management across the Brighton operation. You will shape QA strategy, engage cross-functional partners, and mentor the Quality team to deliver measurable improvements. The position anchors quality across manufacturing, engineering and supplier interactions, aligning with aerospace standards. This is a chance to impact performance, reduce costs and elevate customer satisfaction in a high-complexity manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to governance, standards, regulations and customer requirements
• Develop and set Quality goals, contribute QA inputs to strategy
• Lead, coach and train the Quality team and other staff
• Drive cost reduction and KPI performance improvements
• Apply Lean Six Sigma and the E3 strategy (Excellence, Everywhere, Every day)
• Lead QA with collaboration across Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Engineering
• Capture and act on customer feedback to drive improvements
• Benchmark against industry best practices to evolve quality processes

Key requirements

• Subject matter expert in Quality Assurance and Quality Management Systems in manufacturing/engineering/project environments
• Experience managing Supplier Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering and Quality Control personnel
• Background in a high-complexity design/manufacturing setting, preferably aerospace/defence
• Experience in ISO9001/AS9100 environment with involvement in accreditation
• Experience leading product realisation solutions including APQP/PPAP, customer and supplier interaction, VA/VE, supplier development and cost improvements
