Group Equipment Manager (Retail)

Overview

In this Group Equipment Manager role, you will oversee end-to-end forecasting and stockholding of store fixtures and equipment across the group’s supply chain. You’ll report to the Group Head of Facilities and support both domestic and international expansion with sustainable, cost-conscious, and innovative solutions. You’ll work on OTIF delivery, liaise with design, PMO, and procurement, and travel across the retail estate. Responsibilities

• Strategic supply chain management for retail fixtures and equipment with sustainable focus
• Prepare and manage tender documentation and ensure procurement best practices
• Negotiate supplier contracts with long-term rate commitments (min. 12 months)
• Advise on commercially effective international logistics and procurement strategies
• Ensure supply chains meet allocated KPIs
• Coordinate with Design/PMO/PMO teams to align supply chain with store development
• Monitor stock arrivals, allocations, and system accuracy; track deliveries and deviations
• Lead and develop a team with clear KPIs; conduct quarterly supplier reviews
• Foster stakeholder engagement and risk resolution through site visits and regular communication
• Ensure products/fixtures are sustainable across lifecycle and align with ESG framework

Key requirements

• 10 Years of experience in a similar strategic/tactical role
• Proven leadership experience and ability to drive performance
• Experience with metal fabrication, joinery, plastic fabrication in retail shopfitting or POS
• Global sourcing experience to support international expansion
• Strong analytical skills for cost projection, budgeting, and supplier negotiation
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent demands from large tenders to small enquiries
• Experience managing supplier relationships and KPI-driven performance
