Overview

In this role you will support Marsh McLennan’s legal team by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating client agreements and related documents. You will conduct legal research, develop precedents and templates, and help implement process improvements across the legal function. You’ll work closely with the business and the legal team on day-to-day contractual matters and internal projects, contributing to training and knowledge sharing. Responsibilities

  • Draft, review and negotiate client agreements and ancillary documents
  • Conduct legal research and provide updates to the team
  • Develop internal know-how and maintain template agreements
  • Support the wider Legal team with internal projects and contractual matters
  • Develop and assist with internal legal training and business updates

Key requirements

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Document drafting and negotiation skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and pragmatic problem solving
  • Experience in fast-paced environments with multiple deadlines
  • Effective prioritisation and judgment under competing demands
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Experience with data protection legislation; negotiating DPAs a plus
  • Up-to-date legal knowledge and initiative taking
  • Team player and collaborative mindset
  • LLB or equivalent; 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • IT skills – Microsoft Office; experience with legal tools a bonus
