Overview

In this role you will design, debug and optimize complex silicon modules for high-performance graphics processors at Imagination Technologies. You will work with cross-functional teams to define microarchitectures, analyze trade-offs, and drive reliable, efficient hardware solutions. The position combines hands-on RTL work with collaboration, mentoring, and continuous learning to push silicon performance and power efficiency. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with design, verification and validation teams to deliver silicon solutions
  • Prepare microarchitecture design specs and execution plans aligned with project goals
  • Analyze and optimize circuits for performance, area and power
  • Contribute to design reviews with improvement recommendations
  • Maintain and enhance the design environment and resolve design bugs
  • Mentor graduate engineers and early-career team members; support knowledge sharing and training
  • Leverage latest silicon design techniques, tools and technologies
  • Plan, schedule and complete tasks within deadlines
  • Present technical findings and communicate with cross-functional teams

Key requirements

  • Solid knowledge of digital IC design techniques and methodologies
  • Hands-on RTL design experience at IP or SoC level using SystemVerilog
  • Proficiency in optimizing circuit designs balancing performance, area and power
  • Experience with ASIC or FPGA design tools and environments
  • Exposure to formal proof methodology for capturing design intent
  • Strong analytical, responsible and problem-solving capabilities
