Finance Business Partner – Corporate Costs

Overview

As a Finance Business Partner, you will lead cost control and CAPEX planning to enable strategic investment and disciplined cost management. You will partner with budget holders and senior leadership to provide financial insight, ROI analysis, and constructive challenge. This role sits at the intersection of Product, Technology and Corporate cost functions within a fast-growing PE-backed business, with a focus on delivering actionable planning and robust governance. You will shape budgets, forecasts, and board-ready financial input, driving value delivery. This opportunity offers visible, high-impact work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with functional leads to manage operating costs with monthly reporting, variance analyses, and actionable insights
• Lead budgeting and forecasting for cost centres with FP&A
• Own CAPEX planning and tracking, including investment appraisal and governance compliance
• Build and review business cases with clear ROI and value delivery
• Support month-end processes (accruals, capitalisation)
• Provide financial input for Executive and Board reporting
• Drive process improvements, automation, and stronger financial controls

Key requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• 5+ years’ experience in commercial finance or business partnering
• Strong understanding of cost control, CAPEX management, budgeting and forecasting
• Proven experience in financial modelling and investment appraisal
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
• Confident stakeholder manager with the ability to influence and challenge constructively
