Overview
In this role you will lead potable water-focused infrastructure design within the UK Infrastructure Group, delivering multi-disciplinary projects from proposition to construction. You’ll steer technical design and mentor junior staff, while coordinating resources and fees to secure project pipelines. The role spans city-scale masterplanning to campus and building-scale development, with a global project footprint. You will contribute to industry advancement, including low-carbon and modern design approaches, in a collaborative, diverse firm.

Responsibilities
- Manage delivery of multidisciplinary projects, reviewing civil infrastructure design including potable water from proposition to construction
- Plan project resources and finances and monitor financial performance
- Lead technical design and specification of potable water supply, treatment, and distribution systems ensuring standards compliance
- Manage technical staff, plan workload, mentor junior team members in potable water design
- Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and schedules focused on potable water infrastructure
- Support work-winning efforts to secure potable water projects and project pipeline
Key requirements
- Strong technical background in infrastructure design with leadership experience in potable water systems
- Experience in potable water design (supply, treatment, distribution), preferably on international projects
- Ability to manage and motivate a team; strong communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel and drive continuous quality improvement
- Experience with AutoCAD and relevant potable water design software
- Membership of a relevant professional institution
