Senior Asset Manager

Overview

In this role you will own the ongoing operation and performance of solar PV assets within a growing renewable energy asset management function. You will monitor technical and commercial KPIs, collaborate with O&M providers and external stakeholders, and drive opportunities to improve reliability and long-term value. You’ll analyse asset data, manage budgets and contracts, and provide clear updates to internal stakeholders. This is a strategic position focused on delivering robust, scalable asset performance within a leading investment manager’s renewables platform.

Responsibilities

• Own the ongoing management and performance of operational solar PV assets
• Monitor technical and operational KPIs and identify optimisation opportunities
• Collaborate with O&M providers, technical advisors, contractors and external stakeholders
• Review asset performance, availability, production and maintenance activities
• Support budgeting, contracts and commercial performance management
• Analyse operational data to investigate underperformance and deviations
• Ensure contractual obligations and performance standards are met
• Contribute to reporting and provide performance updates to stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to improve asset performance, reliability and long-term value
• Work across a portfolio and contribute to wider asset management strategy

Key requirements

• 4–5+ years in renewable energy asset management
• Strong experience with solar PV assets
• Experience monitoring and analysing operational asset performance
• Experience working with O&M providers, contractors and technical stakeholders
• Strong understanding of the operational lifecycle of renewable energy projects
• Commercial awareness and analytical approach
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
