Employment Partner Glasgow

Overview

In this role you will join Weightmans’ Glasgow Employment team to lead relationship-based client delivery within a market-leading HR Rely service. You will help grow a diverse, cross-sector practice by winning and developing clients and delivering commercial employment advice. The role combines top-tier legal work with business development to shape Scotland’s growing employment offering. You will work closely with cross-functional colleagues to support clients and drive the firm’s growth strategy.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow client relationships with both long-standing and new clients
• Drive business development and acquisition of new clients or leverage an existing client base
• Provide commercial, relationship-led employment law advice across sectors
• Contribute to the growth and expansion of the HR Rely service in Scotland
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored, bolt-on HR/ employment solutions

Key requirements

• Experience as an Employment Partner or Senior Associate
• Strong track record in client relationship management and development
• Proven ability to win new work and/or manage an existing client base
• Commercial, collaborative mindset focused on growth
• Experience delivering employment law advice to diverse clients
