Overview

As a Compliance Officer, you will support UK compliance activities across multiple business lines in a global setting. You will help sustain the UK compliance framework while staying ahead of regulatory developments across EMEA. You’ll translate regulatory changes into actionable guidance and reporting, partnering with Legal, Risk, and Audit to safeguard the firm’s reputation. This role offers exposure to complex regulatory challenges and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a diverse environment. You will contribute to international initiatives and drive compliant, sustainable business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compliance advisory support to business teams and senior management
  • Maintain the compliance framework for UK entities
  • Monitor regulatory developments across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA)
  • Prepare regulatory impact assessments and business guidance
  • Develop management information for boards and governance committees
  • Partner with Legal and Internal Audit on control matters
  • Support regulatory implementation projects
  • Collaborate with Risk Management, Fund Accounting, Legal, Sales, and Product teams
  • Contribute to international compliance initiatives

Key requirements

  • Degree in Economics, Finance, Law, or a related discipline
  • Compliance experience within asset management
  • Experience working within the UK regulatory environment
  • Strong knowledge of UK investment management regulations
  • Knowledge of UCITS, AIFMD, and MiFID
  • Understanding of operational resilience, reporting, and outsourcing regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships
  • Knowledge of UK investment management regulations
