Marine Producing Broker

Overview

In this Marine Broker role you will build and manage a cross-territory client portfolio for a marine insurance business with a strong regional presence. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and Lloyd’s market to grow Retail and Wholesale business across Europe, Scandinavia, USA and the UK. The role offers flexibility, strong team culture, and opportunities to advance in a ambitious, low-turnover environment. You will be supported to work from home with regular city-based meetings and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• build and grow a portfolio of marine insurance clients across the listed territories
• develop and nurture relationships with the Lloyd’s market and brokers
• contribute to a collaborative, flexible work environment without being pigeonholed into a single role
• cooperate with cross-functional teams to service client needs and drive revenue growth
• represent the business in a professional manner to clients and partners across regions
• participate in initiatives that support company ambition and growth

Key requirements

• experience as a Marine Broker or in Marine Hull & Machinery and War Risks
• ability to manage a cross-territory client base (Retail 50%, Wholesale 50%)
• strong relationship-building skills with Lloyd’s market and brokers
• self-motivated, autonomous, and comfortable with flexible working arrangements
• ability to commute into London city centre 2+ times per week or equivalent travel flexibility
• proven track record in developing new business and client portfolios
