Senior Finance Analyst

Overview

In this FP&A-focused role, you will develop and maintain financial models, forecasts and long-range plans to support strategic decisions. You will partner with senior finance stakeholders to translate data into clear commercial insights and drive profitability. You’ll improve forecasting accuracy and reporting tools while analyzing performance to spot risks and opportunities. This role offers exposure to high-impact projects and the chance to shape the FP&A capability within a professional services organisation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts and long-range plans
• Produce scenario and sensitivity analyses to inform strategic decisions
• Analyse financial performance to identify risks, opportunities and profitability improvements
• Deliver cash flow forecasting, expenditure analysis and commercial insights
• Build models to assess projects, investments and new business opportunities
• Improve forecasting accuracy, reporting processes and financial planning tools
• Collaborate with senior finance stakeholders to provide clear, actionable financial insight

Key requirements

• Fully or part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Strong FP&A, forecasting and financial modelling experience
• Advanced Excel skills; exposure to Power BI, SQL or ERP systems
• Experience building integrated three-statement financial models
• Strong analytical skills with ability to convert data into commercial insights
• Proactive, commercially minded with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
