TikTok Shop – Seller Governance Program Manager, EMEA

Overview

In this role you lead large-scale seller lifecycle governance initiatives for TikTok Shop in the EMEA region. You will design and drive governance roadmaps, manage cross-functional programs, and translate data insights into scalable policies that protect customers and sustain marketplace health. You’ll balance growth with governance effectiveness across multiple markets. This is a strategic, execution-focused role that shapes how sellers operate and how trust is maintained for buyers, sellers, and creators.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute seller lifecycle governance strategies and roadmaps for EMEA
• Own end-to-end cross-functional governance programs across markets including scoping, prioritization, launch, and post-launch tracking
• Analyze ecosystem data, investigations, and feedback to identify risks and opportunities and translate findings into scalable governance solutions
• Develop scalable governance frameworks, policies, and automation to improve governance and seller quality
• Collaborate with Product, Algo, Governance Ops, Business Ops, Legal to define requirements and drive improvements
• Act as subject matter expert for Seller Governance programs, establish monitoring mechanisms, manage escalations, and provide data-driven insights for leadership decisions

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years in e-commerce, operations, compliance, marketplace governance, or related fields
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficient with data to back up recommendations (Excel/Sheets required; SQL a plus)
• Clear, effective communication with ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt to fast-changing environments, and manage multiple priorities with ownership
• Experience in e-commerce, marketplace platforms, or policy/governance with strong commercial acumen
