Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (D&B Contractor)

Overview

In this role you will lead mechanical building services design on high-profile health, commercial, and academy projects. You’ll join a growing design team and collaborate across disciplines to deliver award-winning projects in East Anglia and Central London. You will engage with clients and design teams, mentoring junior engineers while driving technical coordination and project delivery. This is an opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities and help scale the team while delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical building services design on large projects
• Attend design team meetings and liaise with clients
• Coordinate with junior engineers and other services
• Contribute to projects across commercial, residential, health and academy sectors
• Support department growth and potential management responsibilities

Key requirements

• 7+ years of mechanical building services design experience
• Client-facing experience and design team meetings
• Experience coordinating with junior engineers and other services
• Project experience across commercial and residential sectors
• HND or equivalent with CIBSE or IMech membership
