Clinical Lead – Imaging

Overview

In this Imaging Clinical Lead role, you will oversee day-to-day clinical service delivery within Hampshire Clinic’s Imaging department, ensuring high-quality, patient-focused care. You will collaborate with Consultant Radiologists and support the Director of Clinical Services to maximise sessional use and drive service excellence. You will lead multidisciplinary teamwork, monitor revenue processes, and perform radiographic examinations both autonomously and within a team. This is a leadership position within private healthcare, offering development opportunities within a national group. Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day clinical service delivery and staff deployment
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with Consultant Radiologists on clinical Imaging service delivery
• Support the Director of Clinical Services to maximise sessional use
• Attend meetings with Radiologists to discuss clinical and operational issues
• Build and maintain multi-disciplinary consultant relations to meet clinical requirements
• Monitor revenue capture procedures and ensure accurate charges are processed
• Conduct radiographic examinations autonomously and as part of a multi-professional team in line with standards

Key requirements

• Experience in an acute hospital setting in a Senior Radiography post or equivalent
• Experience in customer care with challenging customers
• Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a multi-modality imaging department
• Wide general radiographic background with expertise in one or more specialised areas
• Knowledge of healthcare service sector and systems
• Awareness of College of Radiographers and HCPC Code of Conduct / Accountability
• Knowledge of IRMER and IRR17 Regulations
