Senior Cost Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities, contract documents, and reports
• Audit and cost-check construction and FM contracts
• Identify and quantify cost risks and opportunities; monitor budgets, contingencies, and cash flow
• Resource and supervise project teams; oversee internal costs
• Lead Design Team meetings; advise on cost control matters
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements

Key requirements

• Chartered Surveyor (desirable post-chartered)
• Member of RICS
• Strong track record in consultancy Quantity Surveying and cost management of building projects
• Feasibility/option studies, detailed cost planning, post-contract cost management
• Thorough understanding of JCT and NEC3 contract forms
• Excellent client management and communication and reporting skills
