Overview

In this GMP-regulated role, you will perform analytical testing on therapeutic protein samples and help ensure product quality and stability. You will work within the QC Product Testing & Stability team to interpret data, support stability programs, and drive continuous improvement. You will collaborate across Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Manufacturing to meet regulatory and customer needs. This is a site-based role that emphasises hands-on technical excellence and cross-functional teamwork to deliver safe, high-quality medicines.

Responsibilities

  • Perform analytical testing on therapeutic protein samples using HPLC, capillary electrophoresis, spectrophotometry and other physicochemical methods per GMP requirements
  • Review analytical data for technical accuracy, interpret results against specifications, and communicate observations to key stakeholders
  • Prepare stability study protocols, testing summaries and technical reports for quality and stability programmes
  • Support investigations, deviations, CAPAs and change controls, leading routine quality investigations where appropriate
  • Mentor and share technical knowledge with colleagues, promoting best laboratory practices
  • Contribute to laboratory operations through equipment monitoring, reagent management and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Manufacturing to meet regulatory and business requirements

Key requirements

  • Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or another relevant scientific discipline, or equivalent relevant laboratory experience
  • Experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical or biological laboratory environment
  • Practical knowledge of analytical techniques such as HPLC, capillary electrophoresis, spectrophotometry or other protein characterisation methods
  • Understanding of cGMP principles and their application in a quality-controlled laboratory
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data interpretation and trend identification
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills with ability to prioritise and collaborate in a multidisciplinary team
