Overview
In this Manufacturing Engineer role, you enable high-quality, client-facing products and systems by ensuring manufacturability and robust issue resolution. You work across drawings, processes, and supplier interactions to keep production on track and compliant. You’ll perform root-cause analyses, implement corrective actions, and collaborate with global partners to support delivery and project planning. This position offers a hands-on impact in a regulated, safety-focused environment with opportunities to grow within a leading nuclear engineering firm.

Responsibilities
- Execute technical work packages with traceability
- Review designs for manufacturability using inspection and test processes
- Assist in developing assembly and constructability methods and approve manufacturing documentation
- Troubleshoot and manage manufacturing issues within Supply Chain for a client
- Conduct root cause analyses and develop corrective/preventive actions
- Support project planning and reporting
- Collaborate with local and global partners and supply chain stakeholders
Key requirements
- Degree in Engineering or a Scientific discipline – or equivalent experience
- Computer-literate and tech-savvy
- Experience in manufacturing and test processes (Machining, Casting, Fabrication, Welding)
- Experience in manufacturing of composites for Marine applications and repair methodologies (desirable)
- Knowledge of metallurgy, metallics, and/or composite materials (desirable)
- Experience assessing defect criteria related to cracking, subsurface defects, surface coating defects, and NDE detection methods
- Ideally working towards professional body membership and chartered status
- Security Check (SC) clearance or ability to obtain without caveats
