Overview
In this role you will help deliver major infrastructure and development projects through planning consent, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and advising on policy. You will work within AECOM’s national Town Planning team, contributing to high-profile energy, transport and water schemes. Responsibilities
- Coordinate delivery of major development applications with multi-disciplinary teams
- Assist with project management and ensure quality and health and safety principles
- Provide planning advice on consent requirements and permitted rights
- Conduct planning research and help prepare feasibility reports and consent strategies
- Draft Planning Statements and Design and Access Statements; lead and manage planning applications and negotiations
- Collaborate with Environmental Impact Assessment team; participate in meetings
- Contribute to commercial tenders and support planning feasibility work
