Product Lead – Electronic Systems

Overview

In this permanent role in Stevenage, you will lead the strategy and delivery of Weapon Systems products within the Weapons Operations Equipment Team. You will shape architectural proposals and influence roadmaps, aligning with GMA/GSA strategies to meet future customer needs. You’ll collaborate with UK and international stakeholders and ensure cost-effective, deliverable capabilities. Responsibilities

• Define and deliver product strategies
• Influence project roadmaps, policies and technical standards
• Ensure compliance with GMA/GSA strategies
• Ensure products are cost effective and meet future capability needs
• Lead and shape proposals for architectural solutions to project acceptance
• Promote product line development across programmes and future projects
• Collaborate with stakeholders in the UK and internationally
• Build relationships with academia, SMEs, and potential suppliers

Key requirements

• Experience in electronics design and development, preferably in defence
• Ability to understand technology and its potential uses
• Strategic thinker with strong influencing skills
• Proven ability to define product strategies and roadmaps
• Ability to shape proposals for architectural solutions to acceptance
• Clear, concise engineering documentation and presentation skills
• British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship
