Overview
Senior-level opportunity in a Bristol-based law firm to lead and contribute to a busy Real Estate Finance practice. You will handle complex lender and borrower matters, manage matters end-to-end, and mentor junior lawyers while shaping BD and team strategy. The role combines high-quality work across investment, development, structured financing and distressed real estate, with high-value, time-sensitive matters. You will work closely with clients and external advisers, contributing to the growth and reputation of the practice.
Responsibilities
- Advise on a broad range of real estate finance matters for lenders, borrowers and alternative capital providers
- Lead matters and supervise junior lawyers
- Contribute to business development and team strategy
- Handle distressed real estate, restructuring and insolvency-related matters
- Collaborate with lenders, borrowers and external advisers on high-value transactions
Key requirements
- 9+ years’ PQE with strong real estate finance background
- Experience acting for lenders and/or borrowers on complex transactions
- Comfortable leading matters and supervising junior lawyers
