Overview

As a Senior Associate, you will handle a broad mix of corporate and commercial work for UK and international clients, focusing on cross-border, high‑level matters. You’ll develop direct relationships with sophisticated multinational clients while contributing to a full‑service, international practice. The role blends M&A, investment and commercial agreements with autonomy and client-facing responsibility in a London firm with a multinational client base. This is an opportunity to shape transactions for Fortune Global 500 clients and growing businesses.

Responsibilities

• Advise on M&A, strategic investments, capital raising, shareholder arrangements, joint ventures, private equity funding, restructurings, and corporate governance
• Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements (supply, distribution, agency, manufacturing, terms and conditions, service/consultancy agreements)
• Manage own matters with direct client contact and provide commercially focused advice
• Work with international clients, addressing cross-border considerations and multinational contexts
• Collaborate with cross-practice teams in a full-service firm to deliver integrated legal services
• Build and maintain relationships with sophisticated corporate clients and senior stakeholders

Key requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with ~7+ years PQE
• Strong corporate & commercial experience with M&A exposure
• Experience advising on corporate transactions and drafting commercial agreements
• Autonomy in managing matters and client relationships
• Strong academics and technical legal ability
• Commercially minded with practical advisory approach
• Confident advising senior stakeholders and international clients
• International or cross-border experience advantageous
• Stable career history demonstrating growth within firms
